Wind Creek State Park's 1,445 gently-wooded acres stretch along the shores of peaceful Lake Martin, allowing for both land and water activities enjoyable for the whole family. Set against the southwestern edge of the lake, the park is just 5 miles south of Alexander City. The park boasts one of the largest campsites in Alabama and offers easy water access to the lake, a swimming area, a beach with a bathhouse, picnic areas and hiking trails.
Open daily, 7:00 a.m. - sundown.
Day-use: Adults Weekdays $2, Weekends $3; Seniors 62+ and Children 6-11 $1. Check website for overnight rates.
